Christian Spaeth
I found it quite a nice explanation of what musicians do in studios, for people who don't know what it's about. Liked the first half of the movie (historic stuff) better than the second (old dudes jamming) though.
Patrick Southern
I loved the film, from the first frame to the last. I actually enjoyed the jamming in the end, but that might be because some of the folks involved are personal musical heroes of mine.
old school
I loved the film, from the first frame to the last. I actually enjoyed the jamming in the end, but that might be because some of the folks involved are personal musical heroes of mine. Just watched it and loved it as well. So many truths about making and capturing a great performance while being in the same room at the same time with ones band mates. I'm sure I'll watch this many more times. I highly recommend it lovers of music and recording . CrewC

jdutaillis
So much awesome in this film. Dave Grohl did an amazing job. Can't wait for the album to come out and the Sydney tour!
jrd456
I worked on "The twelve dreams of doctor sardonicus" by the group called "Spirit" in the late 60's at Sound City as an assistant.A very true sounding room. The place is magic, what's happening to it? old school
No spoiler alert JD. See the film. Or Wiki it for the answer I suppose. CrewC
