ccsnd
Eric was the one that made all those stick figure drawings on all those cave walls. This was during the Pangea times. None of those "hieroglyphics" actually mean anything, Eric just liked doodling naked people.

Eric Toline
When Eric started he was recording on stone tablets. No, stone had not yet been invented. We drew lines in the dirt which was a new invention at the time. That's where the term "laying down tracks" comes from. Eric

Marc Wielage
Assuming you bought a Nagra III with all accessories for $2000 back in 1967, that would be about $13,566 today. Makes you realize what a relative bargain the Cantar, Fostex, Sound Devices, Tascam, and Zaxcom multitrack recorders are today.

Rob Anderson
I think I paid $700 in 1974 for my Nagra III made in 1965. Magnificent monophonic recording! I know the year it was made because the serial numbers of Nagras generally contain the last two digits of the year of manufacture.
robdisner
Very cool machine. Had one for a backup which was very clean with little use. Didn't use it much either as I quickly figured out that a Sharp MiniDisc recorder took up a lot less space in the truck! Backwards XLR jacks and banana plugs everywhere! Also had the matching BM-10 three input mixer with the pointer dials. All went overseas to some guy in Japan via eBay many moons ago. Philip Perkins
The only recorder I really truly regret selling. It just looked so cool. Dan Dugan fixed mine up so it sounded great. But…..long gone. philp
