Ryan T
Hi people. Which in your opinion are the most reliable SD cards to use with the 552 recorder? Which companies do SD recommend?... I dont need anything too large in gig size. Many thanks. Ryan.
soundslikejustin
Which cards do Sound Devices recommend? ...really? http://www.sounddevices.com/notes/mixers/664-field-mixer-approved-media/ Yes, I know, that's the 664. They will definitely work in the 552 then. Personally. I use a Kingston Class 6( I think) 32GB card. Never an issue.
BAB414
I use cheap SanDisk Class 4 cards exclusively with the 552 and have never had an issue. 4GB and 16GB.
G Murphy
I stick to SanDisk SDHC Class 4 4GB and 16GB for the 552. Also use 8GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC1 (30MB/s) Class 6 and more recently 16GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC1 (30MB/s) Class 10.
Eric
I've been using SanDisk Extreme HD Video SDHC, 30MB/s, 8GB & 16GB with success. Records just under an hour per GB @ 48K/24bit. I had a lock up once with a Transcend card. Never to be used again.
OmahaAudio
I've been using SanDisk CF and SD cards since I started going digital (stills and sound) and have never (knock on wood) had a problem with them. I have friends that cannot say the same about Lexar.
