Jeff Babb
An acquaintance has asked me to go to Kenya to work on a reality project. I can't go so I didn't inquire into rates or anything else. He recently put out a general call for a Sound Mixer so it looks like he's still searching. Here's the link to his project. http://www.myafricanlove.com
Tom Visser
Kenya is the name of my daughter, who was named because that was our destination before we found out we were pregnant with her while in a hospital in Thailand, having just taken an emergency bus trip from hell from Laos, thinking that my girlfriend was dying or something. atheisticmystic
If Jeff doesn't mind, I'd like to piggyback here. I also have a friend going to Kenya, to do a documentary for the Mama Obama Foundation 5/3-5/20. He needs to hire a local soundie out of Nairobi. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeff, it was just too coincidental to pass up.
Jeff Babb
No worries. Maybe the same mixer can do both jobs. Anyone interested can contact myafricanlove.com directly. I'm just passing the word.
