postaudio
Hi, Is it possible to wire the NP1 Cup pig tail directly to 8 lectros power plug in order to power 8 - 411a at once? That way I don't need the BDS power distribution center, just directly powering the lectros. Doable? Don't know if it needs resistors between the battery and the 411a? Advise? Idea? Thanks, Ben
John Blankenship
Yes, you can wire them directly.

bigbenboom
I've recently been thinking about getting something like this as a back-up in the field. I use SRb in the bag, and I don't really want a battery sled on each one.
RPSharman
I have 4x 411 in a bag which are powered by a single 4-pin pigtailed to each directly from a single battery source. Never an issue.
Chris R
I've recently been thinking about getting something like this as a back-up in the field. I use SRb in the bag, and I don't really want a battery sled on each one. I have one of my bags with all my lectro's powered directly to an NP1 cup, but I also built this awhile back. I just bought a few more this week (at a whopping price of $3.95 each) because they are so handy. It's just a removable plate for Sony L mount batteries meant for a charger. You can open it up and rewire it in minutes and presto.. a nice alternative for powering all kinds of things like Lectro T4's or SRa's or other gear.
