RPSharman
Take a crapload of money and don't plan on brining any home with you. Some of the best restaurants in the world there too, so don't waste all the money on cards and strippers.
Ferdinand Almalvez
its probably best to ask Rado0o0o0o0! But I do enjoy the Aria (shopping, great restaurants, smells good) and the Cosmo (Marquee day/night club, numerous free shows within the casino), which are prime spots, Check out Hakkasan at the MGM, the new hot spot. studiomprd
Firing real full-auto machine guns is popular these days... Mustang Ranch, et al, are outside of LAS... lots, and lots of great shows, I particularly like the Beatles "all You Need is Love"

I don t know if it s a legend but apparently they put extra oxygen in the casinos so you never feel tired.. Vegas is a gigantic fun maze! Richard Nault
Do: Never been downtown, but locals have always mentioned to me that the old downtown is pretty old school and not to be missed. Do: Ask for an upgrade. In a city full of hotel rooms, I think I've been upgraded every time I've stayed there... Point to your pile of gear, and mention a little extra space would be nice. Do: Some hotels have big pool party days on certain days ... Find out which ones are on which days... I think the HRH has a 'Rehab Sunday' pool party. Not to be missed. Do: Not sure if it has opened yet, but I worked on a doc about a month or two ago about Véronic DiCaire's show opening in Vegas. Might be up and running by now. Would be a good show to check out! Don't: Take a limo ride from the airport, it was about $50 for a 2 block trip for me. Cut to me taking a $50 limo ride to a restaurant about a block away from my hotel the next day. That Cut into my budget for other things! Have fun! R

RadoStefanov
Spent as much money as you can. You pay my state taxes. I don't. Robert is right about good restaurants. We have more food restaurants per square mile then any other place in the world. Few things to keep in mind: Even though you can drink on Las Vega Blvd You can be arrested for being drunk. If you have little weed in your possession it is $600 ticket and no jail. If you are going to a night club there is a strict dress code. Talk to limo drivers. Sometimes it is cheaper then a taxi. Especially if you are a lot of people. DONT FORGET YOU ARE ALWAYS BEING WATCHED and Casino security are not a regular security. They can "arrest" you. NEVER DRIVE DRUNK. CALL ME IF YOU NEED BAIL. Toy Robot
Got married in Vegas. Had a blast and I will be back. On our trip toward the airport to leave, the cab driver says, "How'd you enjoy Lost Wages Nevada?" Pretty much sums it up. Only bring as much as you can afford to lose and just have fun, but remember the house always wins!

Simon Paine
Do: Not sure if it has opened yet, but I worked on a doc about a month or two ago about Véronic DiCaire's show opening in Vegas. Might be up and running by now. Would be a good show to check out! I was in Vegas filming that show ! Small world. lol. And Rado is a great source for local info and audio rentals ! Thanks again Rado. (fortunatly I didn't have to try out his bail services !) NERD ALERT! Had a couple of nights off so I left the strip to check out the pinball museum ! http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ Museum is a bit of a misnomer because these machines aren't just for looking at, they are all playable ! They have all the old classics and the legendary machines like Star Trek Next Generation, Twilight Zone, Star Wars etc... I'm a bit of a pin head and had dreamed of visiting the pinball museum for some time. And I figured if I'm going to pump money in to a mchine in Vegas, might as well have fun doing it! SORRY for the 118F weather. (: The pinball museum is amazing. The owner has 2000 more in a warehouse. All playable...
