chris_bollard
Looking for suggestions for an airline cabin sized wheeled bag to put batteries , laptop and cables and bits in. A mate has the Petrol PCTB-2 camlap bag. Unfortunately it's no longer available.
soundslikejustin
Zuca? Pretty sure LowePro make a wheeled backpack, if that's more what you're looking for.
BWilson
Lowepro make a good one, very sturdy as its designed for the still camera gear. Kata make another nice one called a bumblebee, but the access to the big compartment is on the back where the shoulder straps are, which can be a bit cumbersome. Marc Hoppe
I use this one, http://www.adorama.com/LPPRLX100.html It fits into the overhead on most planes, though on a few recent regional jet trips, I had to gate check it. It's very sturdy, holds a ton, and has a TSA lock. It's a well built bag. Marc
Derek H
Look up BAD bags. They have a “roll-aboard" case that's great. Good construction.
Boomboom
Lowepro Pro Roller Lite 250 and Nova 200 combo. I've used it for my last two travels; A-1 ! A K-Tek 9 foot 5 section pole fits in the case (not in picture).
qwerty
Ape bags are not very expensive. There are no wheels on this one but it carries gear well. I use this as both my audio bag with a custom harness I built and also use it to transport stuff. http://apecase.com/products/dslr-shoulder-cases/pro-series-cases/acpro1600-digital-slrlaptop-travel-case/#.UguhOeCnA1M I am not familiar with this one but this may be a option. http://apecase.com/products/back-packs/pro-series-backpacks/acpro4000-digital-slr-and-laptop-roller-backpack/#.UguiOeCnA1M
chrisnewton
I bought the Think Tank Airport International roll on bag for a recent trip. Well made, but pricy. It's designed for DSLRs but I got my 302, backup mixpre, 744T, 3 NP1s, 3 rfs, headphones 416 w/softie, Schoeps, basic cables, and a modified short VDB pole in it for carry on. Extra gear like slate, charger, longer VDB pole, more cables were in checked baggage. no problems on a long trip, though internal Australian flight charged me excess and made me check it. was too tired to argue. it is designed to meet dimension requirements for international flights. happy with my purchase. the regular thinktank carry on roller was a bit too small for my needs. I use the bag regularly now on everyday jobs.
