Jan McL Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Had the great good fortune of having the RF Venue single-piece diversity antenna on hand to A/B in the field for an edge-of-reception moment. Set was one floor up and 20 yards over. Deemed it unwise to take advantage of the fork lift production had kindly provided as alternative to get the equipment up the flight and a half of of stairs. Locations restriction did not permit my moving more directly underneath the set. Knew reception would likely be on the edge of good, but only one mic, so...crossed my fingers and said a prayer. The RF Venue had performed splendidly under normal circumstances, but in this instance found I was getting more hits than expected so made the switch back to sharkfins and we got what we needed. I LOVE the idea of only one instrument to do the work of two. LOVE it. But...there it was. Quote
