Martin Kittappa
It's only a matter of time before someone asks if its possible to send sound to this camera. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23926939
Marc Wielage
Proving once again that you can slap the word "4K" on anything, but it's still not equivalent to good pictures. I was joking about the possibility of 4K cellphone cameras at least four or five years ago, and it's come true...
cmgoodin
And now we will have to strap a 4 terabyte drive to the back of the phone to hold all those 4K video files.
Jesse Flaitz
I'm not particularly worried about this type of stuff, I'd be more worried if I was a camera person. As a sound person, it doesn't change much if anything about my normal workflows. It probably has an 1/8 in. or 3.5mm input, so scratch audio to "camera" dual system sound, done and done. However, if I ever see a tablet or cell phone being used as A cam for an even remotely professional shoot... I don't think anyone could take it seriously. Though I did, on a recent BTS shoot, have someone say they would pick up extra b-roll on their galaxy s4 haha.
mulluysavage
I am developing a sound recordist app for Android if you would like to buy it. It negotiates rates and places a small oblong CG form in the top center of the frame that is removed with the voice command "IN".
