PTA
Any updates with the Amira and Zaxcom ERX? I just plugged in today and it seemed to take timecode right away. I don't see any indication of external lock though. Is that something that can be verified?

PTA
From memory I heard the advice to keep a timecode source connected at all times mike So today, the ERX seemed to keep the camera in sync visually all day at 1v. Not sure how frame accurate but it jammed immediately and seemed to be good.

Derek H
Extension announced for slot in receivers ... Cool! Hopefully it will accept dual channel receivers.
martyg
Amira could be a nice mix between Mirar and Amor, Look and Love
Freeheel
The extension for slot receivers will accept dual channel receivers, using the Universal multipin connector. I used it with my SRB. Works fine. Only worry is that the slot extension uses a cable that connects underneath the extension box where it is exposed to damage. Those TAF5 elbows are not very robust. Another potential issue is that the slot stays powered even when the camera is turned off, so you are constantly draining the camera battery with your hop receiver. If the cameraperson notices this and shuts down your receiver, it is likely that they will forget to turn it back on when they turn the camera back on. JCC
Gary Baldy Yes, I had same Prob- so bad I had to send -10 to Alexa (line) and set f55 to mic level to compensate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Derek H
Seems like that would be an easy fix for Arri to power the slot on/off along with camera. Also the SRb drains so little juice that you should just keep it on.
