SirMixesAlot
When my QRX's have locked up, the display freezes and the unit does not send any audio from it. I've had it happen about 4 times this summer, and only on hot days. In all cases I just power cycled the unit through the BDS switch and everything returned to normal
vale
As Cloud Wand and SirMixesAlot said, I will drill some holes on the top panels to let them breath a little more. Not that I experienced QRX failures due to overheating until now, even in summer days. But i planned to drill them just for prevention, simply I was starting a movie in hurry and didn't have the time to complete the job this time. Good advice, anyway. Thanks, vale. Nicholasfargone
Hey Vale, Fantastic Job! What size thickness is the allunimun panels? and where did you buy them from?
vale
Hi Nicholas, alluminum panels are 3mm. I bought them from a company that makes banners and other things about advertising banners. I don't know how to say better in english. If I'll be able to know from them the exact product name I'll post it again. I'm glad you liked my project, anyway thanks, vale. johnpaul215
Might be cleaner to get access to a hand punch. There are ones specifically made to handle metal of this gauge. It'll pop right through this stuff.
