Tim M
Using a laird fiberglass omni antenna with a 1 watt amplifier using zaxnet. I get occasional bursts at almost any distance of the same sound of getting too close to the zaxnet antenna. Only happens on my lectro uh400 & hm. Called manufacturer and they had absolutely no idea. Using an RFVenue uhf antenna which sits around 3 feet from 2.4 ghz antenna. Nomad 10. Tried different things & it still happens...can't reproduce it. Any opinions? Thx! Zack
Hummm, what mixer are you using, and is it sharing the same power source as the 2.4 amp/dc injector?
greg sextro
When I had that problem, I think I discovered a fray in the internal cable of the boom pole was the culprit.
Tim M
Yes, they are all on AC plugs on my cart right now Zack. It does get worse if I use the internal cable, but I never use it because it is too long of a cable run according to the manufacturer but even with both plugged directed into the microphone it sometimes still occurs...although much less than with a cable. " HUH? it still happens, or you can not reproduce it ?? " Using an RFVenue uhf antenna " not the problem... sounds like RF is spraying from somewhere, and/or otherwise getting into where it shouldn't. trial and error will be useful in narrowing down the culprit combinations... Wandering Ear
Tim, i haven't had your exact issue, but i do find the hm more susceptible to rf interference than other transmitters i have. My HM will pick up rf from my digital tx if within 2 feet or so.
