Michael Panfeld
Its set for November 19th at 9PM. Got an announcement from Location Sound. Pic of a butler's arm holding a serving tray with a black cloth over what could be a 744-sized shape. Any ideas?

Olle Sjostrom
I would venture a guess that it's something to compete with the Maxx, like a 744t with mixing or something like that Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk I would venture a guess that it's something to compete with the Maxx, like a 744t with mixing or something like that Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

stevegrider
I would like to see an analog console from Sound Devices. Their version of a Cooper.
jrd456
I would like to see an analog console from Sound Devices. Their version of a Cooper. That is an excellent idea !-----------ain't gonna happen. J.D.
Constantin
That is an excellent idea !-----------ain't gonna happen. J.D. I would love that too. But it's such an anachronism. Although, if it had a full-size recorder built in? Like the Sonosax guys?
RPSharman
I'd totally buy a mixer/recorder from SD if it had 10 faders and could record 12 tracks of mix plus ISO.

Marc Wielage
It's a platter of brownies. They are going to be delicious. I hope it's brownies that are Dante compatible! In the spirit of playing roulette, I'm going to place my bet on a black control surface for PIX260i that adds mixing facilities. That would be extremely cool. Is also like to see a PIX in the bag. Like a real small monitor for reference but with all the other features. PIX is very useful when the camera won't accept timecode in but can output it. And I'd love to have that in the bag for flexibility

Richard Thomas
444 (2/3 of the number of the beast)
Crussell
I'd second the 444 guess or a 442 v2.0 (444 minus the x1, x2 busses) Records isos and main output, potentially with the ability to turn the direct outputs into additional line inputs like the 664. Small enough to replace the 302 and capable enough to replace the 552 thus streamlining their product line up. If it's something remotely like that, I'm buying it on day 1. (all speculation, I've got no more info than that picture on their site and my begging them to make a product like that when I was at their booth at NAB)
yoclay
The mythical 332.
