soundtrane
went with aluminium shelves and a drawer (all fabricated locally with my design and assistance). much lighter than the original 2008 cart with teak wood shelves. my not be as good looking though! I like wood, i may still go with wood for my new cart that i will work on post February 2014... Some changes did take place since this photo was taken, but nothing major. Moved my dc dist box down to the lowest level, etc... -vin

James Arnold
Nice to see somebody still using 2040's. Incidentally does anyone use a 'chromatec' type of device for metering display on monitors? The thing I always notice on carts is that unless it's a 788 combo with an iPad and CLWifi or a flatbed mixer with decent metering, people are resorting to squinting at the LCD screens of modern day digital recorders. JonG
I have a Dorrough meter on my cart, and Im using a 788T

soundtrane
Looking good Vin. CrewC Thank you Sire... Nice upright cart! How do you normally transport this? in a Toyota van. it's called a QUALIS. available (or was available only in India)... cart fits in perfectly. In the picture there is a row of seats in the back - obviously not in the vehicle we use for gear...
soundtrane
Nice to see somebody still using 2040's. Still using?? And why not? I switched to Audios last year after I had immense trouble getting the newer Lectros in time in India. I can only buy gear when i have a gig coming up that is going to pay a certain sum of money.... I used the Lectro 411 and LM/UM for five years. I consider Larry Fisher a mentor and still do - no matter what i had to do last year. I STILL think Lectrosonics availability in India is a pita. And having the largest concentration of units in Asia, i want them to really consider a service center here - central to Asia...
