mpsanos
I've used the white mount with great results ... Would one know if there is any difference other than color between a black to a white mount? Flexibility mainly. Thanks. mike
David Levine
I have and use both. One is black, and one is white. No other difference. I think they come in beige, too.
mpsanos
Thanks David, was getting ready to pick up a couple more and wanted to be sure from those who have used em.
RadoStefanov
make sure you don't use them upside down...
daniel
The black ones seems softer to me but the black 1 i have is also newer than my beige/white ones so that may be why. dan.
tonetripper
I find black ones to be the best as they are better to hide in costumes even on light shirts as they hide in the shadows IMHO. Of course other colours are employed, costume dependant, but my go to is black. White or black is like poking the beast on these boards at points. Heh. studiomprd
mpsanos: " any difference other than color between a black to a white mount? " I find the black one has a much darker sound.
jason porter
I do find that the black ones tear a lot easier.
Rob Lewis
White ones seem harder and i have had mics pull out of them. Black are softer, thinner and grip better.
Eric
The black ones seem a little thinner and softer to me as well. More prone to ripping. I agree Jason. White ones more hearty if that makes any sense. Black rm11s can help with hiding in dark wardrobe.
pkautzsch
Adhesive tape seems to leave a little more residue on the beige RMs. That might be me, though, as I use them more often than the black ones.

George Flores
A Baby Oil or Olive Oil rub-down softens up the RM-11s, extending the life, as well as getting the gunk off.
