Tony Johnson
Thanks Jeff, very surprised to see we got through in such a huge year for great sound mixes. Congrats to all other nominees it looks like Chris Munro has better odds than some of us. Tony

Joshua Anderson
Not sound related...but how was "American Hustle" not nominated for hair/makeup when there was a motif about hair/balding that included the set decoration?
studiomprd
JA: " how was "American Hustle" not nominated for hair/makeup " I suspect because enough of the voting members of that group did not vote for it, and voted for other choices they preferred.... CHULESPADA
Dear colleagues, Congrats for your nominations. This is the first time I get one of my projects I did the sound for to become nominee for the Academy awards. It's just a shortfilm, but still never expected to have one of my works playing at the Dolby theatre in LA. I'm really excited about it and just wanted to share the experience with you guys. http://www.goldderby.com/candidates/aquel-no-era-yo-(that-wasnt-me).html
VASI
Congratulations to all nominees! A little off topic and idea about JWSOUND 2.0 A new section with voting system for nominees from JWSound members. The members from this board to have a chance to vote for award according to Oscar, CAS, Emmy etc selections.
