John Blankenship
Thanks again, Eric. It was a low-bandwidth connection, but allowed me to hear (the seeing part was pretty muddy) the thing live, which was great. Some really exciting innovations are coming our way. Colleen says that the Zaxcom 2.0 web site should be live tonight or tomorrow. I could see Eric's sexy face perfectly clear. Eric was the main attraction. Then, there was this announcement of some kind...
Jeff Wexler
Would someone post a little but more detailed account of this announcement --- I would rather not try and cobble together the bits and pieces posted here and on Facebook, etc. (not details on the Party, details on the gear!). John Blankenship
This is oversimplifying as there are some optional choices, but: * 200mHz receivers * 100mHz transmitters * A new modulation scheme that results in longer range. And, DRUM ROLL... this can be downloaded and added to existing Zaxcom wireless at no charge! * This modulation scheme will improve (not completely solve, but improve) the RF issue with some microphones. * A new, web site with improved resources. Glenn made the point that this is not an incremental improvement, but a major leap in wireless capability.
RadoStefanov
Jeff I hope the DPA RF are not apparent with the new modulation.
