graham
I did the Tough Mudder in NJ this past October. I have not participated in sports/ competitions in over 20 years and truly enjoyed myself and the changes in lifestyle with diet and workouts. This year I plan on a few triathlons(sprint and Olympic distance). I'm checking to see if any others on this site are involved in the sport. David Waelder
Most sound mixers only run when they call "Lunch"... . Old School The story I've heard comes from when Orson Welles was shooting MacBeth at Republic Studios. He was provided with extras who were accustomed to working the low budget horse operas that were Republic's standard fare. They were less than eager, less than enthusiastic and he worried that they might not give him the performance he needed when they were to storm the castle. He set up his cameras so they were between the assembled soldier extras and the commissary and had his AD call "Lunch." He photographed the stampede of extras to the commissary. Tom Visser
I don't like to run, so Triathalons are out for me, but I might try my hand at the rough water swim in Waikiki this year, which inspired the swimming portion of the Triathalon, I believe. Howiecreate
I do them. I've done Sprints, Olympics and Half-Ironman distance events. It's one of the things that keeps me sane. Let me know if you have any questions. I can usually only manage to get three events in a year due to my work schedule, but those are 3 great days.
