Richard Ragon
I've been looking to upgrade some lights on my cart. I found this.. http://www.wayfair.com/Summit-Lecterns-Portable-Dimmable-LED-Lectern-Table-Lamp-SLEDPO213-SMLC1002.html This light is a bit pricey.. but it seams to work really well. It clips on, its LED, it is dimmable, and will run off your 12VDC power. I bought two, and I'm going to mount them on my cart next week. If anyone is interested, I'll include some photos when I mount them.
JonG
I have something like that (though not LED) from Little Light that I picked up at Pacific Radio. It came with an AC cable and a cable with pig tails, so I soldered it to a connector for my power distro. Works great!
John Blankenship
You can get bayonet-based LED lamps that fit in standard incandescent LitleLite goosenecks.
syncsound
Since my setup is a "bag on a cart", I have a Remote Audio v4 BDS with USB, and use a USB gooseneck in it: http://www.guitarcenter.com/American-DJ-USB-Powered-Gooseneck-LED-Light-106554694-i1993502.gc Lights up the whole cart, runs off the BDS, tucks away when I don't need it. Very convenient.

stevegrider
I found some LED flexible light strips at Autozone. They are used for accent lighting underneath cars. They are wired for 12v, so I put them on a 4 pin XLR and plugged it into my Remote Audio Meon. VERY bright and hidden easily over my mixer and keyboard shelf. Phil Rosati
The clip light could be cool for folks that work off sides a lot. Mount the clip to a piece of plexi, or some rigid service, mount the plexi to your cart, use the clip on the light to hold your sides, and the light to illuminate them. Might have to try that myself..
Richard Ragon
Mounting it for sides, is exactly what I got it for.
