Mike Robertson
Hello all, Just had a quick spotting session for an upcoming 5.1 mix. Our editor was using an ipad app he invented to jot down quick notes on the fly, all being synced through wifi to the TC of the Pro Tools session [LE 10]. It was very helpful to get an e mail the next day containing close to frame accurate notes to make changes before the final mixing. http://www.digitalrebellion.com/cutnotes/ Just wondering if that would be helpful to anyone else out there. I was impressed.
Dennis Kersten
Hi billclintonn, thanks for sharing! I'm going to check it out today. Looks nice!
Philip Perkins
It looks like a hip thing. I often deal with editors who are in other cities on the other side of the country, making the notes emailable is very cool. philp
Jay Rose
That looks incredibly cool. I'm going to check it out as well, for producers and directors (and me) to use during the final top-to-bottom review of a mix.
Marc Wielage
Doh, I could see this being used for color spotting sessions, too: "too red, too blue, too green, too ugly..." (Typical comments I get when I wear that hat.)
Jay Rose
too ugly... I've actually gotten a post audio note which topped that... http://dplay.com/tutorial/pvc/02LoveHer/index.html

Marc Wielage
I've actually gotten a post audio note which topped that... Angela Landsbury's producer/husband once turned to me in a Murder She Wrote session and asked, "is there any way we can make this scene look more like popcorn?" Miles Anderson
that was definitely a "look" sometimes.... nice app!
Henchman
The time code link with protools is wacky. Any suggestions?
