Apple Logic Board Replacement

My powerbook logic board just took a crap.  I have to make the decision to either send it out or do it myself.  Has anyone in the group replaced their's before?  If so, how difficult a job is it?  The computer is a 12" G4 Powerbook.

I can probably get you the directions for doing it. I had to replace some things on my iBook and it was a real pain. More time consuming than I would have expected, but as long as you have the technical know how, you can probably do it.

If you decide to do it yourself, send me an email with your serial number so I can get you the right instruction set.

Be warned that a logic board replacement is not for the faint-of-heart. One static zap and you can break the whole thing. (I did that once with an Apple II in the early 1980s, and it was unpleasant.)
