soundmanjohn Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 As promised: Two circuits: the first for unbalanced 9v operation, the second (which is what's inside the DPA 6001 adapter) for balanced 48v Phantom operation. Best to check with a mic you don't mind losing if you're not sure about construction. Don't blame me if it all goes wrong! Regards, Quote
iggipopovski Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 15 minutes of DIY, checked and everything seems fine. I've compared with original DAD 6001, both sounds equal. Thanks Quote

LuckyNat Posted December 1, 2018 Report Posted December 1, 2018 Thanks to finding these schematics from Soundmanjon, I'm going to build a couple of circuits to power my ex-theatre DPA 4061s.. (both cut at the wire..) A small question before I do so: My recorder can give 12V Tpower. Will adjusting the circuit above for T-Power and making an adapter for T-power instead, save me recorder battery? If T and phantom both have same current draw, I'd guess that would be correct.. ? lstanislawski Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Sorry for digging topic up. What types of capacitors use in this build? Quote
drpro Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 If you are using discrete components, take a look at the Elna Silmic II. Really nice for the cost of a 50v 10uf is about .70usd. Plus it has "mic" in the name. Quote
stellar Posted April 6, 2022 Report Posted April 6, 2022 Few years late but please on the 9 volt battery schematics The 10uF capacitor has no polarity shown. Is it electrolytic and polarity is not showing or non polarized polypropylene ? If anyone built this power supply please could you comment on my question. Thanks Stellar Quote
