Dejan Ceko Posted June 6, 2014 Report Posted June 6, 2014 SUG-16 ...no internet info... Sennheiser me66 similar..anyone? Quote
JonG Posted June 7, 2014 Report Posted June 7, 2014 Looks like those cheapo mics they sell at film tools/ametron for like $20. Why don't you give it a listen? Quote
Johnny Karlsson Posted June 7, 2014 Report Posted June 7, 2014 I'd be careful with that. SUG = Secret Undercover Gun. The paper says "gun" microphone. I think Q made it for Mr Bond. The AA "battery" in there looks like it might contain a 16 caliber bullet, hence the name SUG-16. A lot of bang for your buck. Quote

And look at the directional pattern response picture, to me it looks like a skull Quote

chrisnewton Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Superscope? Hey Dejan. this mic looks vaguely familiar. the printing on the spec sheet looks kind of like the font used by Superscope products back in the 70s. Googled SUG1 but nothing came up. Quote
