Jacob Gustavsson
Sorcery! Seems to be more details on the reactor page. 1 core holds 4500 mAh with 5v 1A output?
dfisk
really only seems suitable for small devices like cell phones or the like. I'd like to see a higher capacity version that outputs more wattage and amperage, but I bet that would be very expensive.
taylormadeaudio
I mixed a few episodes of Nat Geo's Doomsday Preppers, and have run into a few instances where the featured participants were running some kind of Hydrogen voodoo. The technology is definitely advancing, but keep in mind if it sounds too good to be true, it likely is... LarryF
The specs given (5V 4.5Ah) equals 22.5 Watt-hours. No bad for a power cell that looks (?no specs?) like the size of an 18650 Li-Ion which has "only" 12 Wh of capacity. Once you add in the size of the reactor, it's not quite as favorable. However, if you were carrying 5 cells and one reactor, the size advantage swings back. Of course 5 cells and the reactor is probably the size of an NP-1, which can have the same capacity in Li-Ion. Cute idea but the practicality and economics are not overwhelming, IMHO Best, Larry F
