Tim M
If the diagram attached is clear I'm trying to make a custom coiled/bungee cable with three RG58 BNCs and a 4 pin XLR F to XLR F. Trew audio says they cannot make this cable which means I definitely need to find a way to make it now.
Ken Wilkinson
How about something like this? http://www.thetoolboxshop.com/0-777-15-15-core-retractable-electric-cable-3m-working-length-8140.html
Eric Toline
IMO: A 2.5" section of coil cable won't have enough straight length to fan out to attach BNC's securely at both ends. The core wire diameter won't be durable enough to stand the flexing of the BNC's. Perhaps explaining the purpose for the assembly will make it easier to understand from which a better idea might present itself. vale
I have the same configuration and wrapped all the four cable together in that sort of shrink socket (I'll post a picture as soon as I can). Not coiled, but It is serving me well.
studiomprd
as you have, no doubt, found, one major hurdle is in finding coiled RG-58 cable (let alone a mult of multiple RG58's)
Hartley
Consider a stranded core rg-58 and try techflex for the cover. www.techflex.com
