Doug Osborn
Just curious if anybody here has had hands on time with the new Cinela Pianissimo. What's your take on it? Thinking of getting one for my MKH-50 and an additional mount for my cmc641.
RadoStefanov
Checked it out at NAB. it is a smaller piano. Same design and craftsmanship.
Simon Hayter
I got a pianissimo last week, using it with a DPA 4071. Very light rig, no handling noise. Altogether very pleased. Oops, 4017
pindrop
Very nice but is the bottom half of that basket still non-removable? I haven't bought one because what I've seen did not strip down to suspension only, I'd need it to do this fast, as I'd often find it too bulky otherwise. My current setup with Rycote is fairly clumsy but the basket is completely removable. The new Rycote Cyclone with magnetic fixing seems very promising for speedy stripdowns. Simon Hayter
I keep all my microphones in their own mounts to avoid swapping. And, yes, the bottom half of the basket is still not removable.
Derek H
How does the pianissimo compare to the Zephyx?
