enginufuk
Hi, Anyone knows what type of TC connector does it use? Can tell that it is a Lemo but google search/manuals did not give me any specifics about the pin type. Appreciated. Engin
Karl Wasserman
The ARRI 416 TCC socket is a 5 pin lemo.

Marc Wielage
Doh, my memory is that edge timecode on 16mm was very dicey. It sorta/kinda worked on 35mm and we did use it on some sitcoms back in the day, but in truth, the camera department is not exactly diligent in double-checking the jam, plus there are issues with getting the signal aligned correctly. Aaton actually invented the system, and I think Arri's system was compatible to a point. I'm not sure it's really an issue in 2014. It doesn't cost that much to just hire somebody to sync it all up in post... but I have to say, when the edge timecode system works, it works very well. Evertz had an Aaton-compatible playback system, but it, too, was very flakey sometimes. I'm not sure of many post houses that still offer these systems anymore. Malcolm Davies Amps CAS
Timecode on an Arri 16mm SR used to be a really big Fischer plug. I've still got a couple of cables with 5 pin Lemo(Nagra) to the Fischer.
Simon Hayter
Yes, Malcolm, I've got one of those too... Anyone want to buy a really big Fischer plug to 5 pin lemo? Anyone?

Jeff Kreines
I don't think anyone can read Arri 16mm timecode. It never really caught on. And I do have a 416...
