Constantin
How much voltage would two alkaline batteries have?
faxingberlin
3volts
Constantin
3voltsso why would it be different with two lithiums at 1.5V each?
soundslikejustin
because he's talking about lithium rechargeables that have a voltage of 3.2v per cell.
Constantin
Yes I know, but I understood post #3 to imply that he had access to lithium rechargeables at 1.5V?
soundslikejustin
Ah, missed that. Sorry. Yes, if you use a lithium rechargeable cell with a 1.5v output converter there's no reason why it shouldn't work
Diego Sanchez
Just use AA they last forever in this units, don't complicate your life
Nate C
+1 to above. Today we did 12+hr using some old powerex and all was good.
johnpaul215
Powerex, Imedions etc in decent condition will last well over 12 hours. I have some Powerex AAs that are probably 4 or 5 years old, were mostly used in transmitters, and they'll last a full day in an ERX2. I usually don't turn them off for lunch just to be sure nobody forgets to power them up if they rip off to get a shot, and don't have problems with them running out of juice. If you need some serious run time, then maybe disposable lithium batteries give you more. No idea what kind of time that gives you.
justloh
2 energiser lithium gives it 2.5 days.. 11hrs each day. I usually put it in for 2 days, and switch them to my senn ifb for 1 whole day.
