VASI
Maybe the price range for EU will be 2.600€ - 2.800€ for LT & LR
Marc Wielage
Love the wide frequency range idea. This should come in very handy in problematic locations where you're forced to do a quick scan and retune inbetween takes. And the LT is amazingly small for a 2-battery unit. greyfoxx
Seems like a great price for a lectro receiver with a tracking front end and wider frequency range. Compare this price to a UCR401 and it looks quite good.
LarryF
Seems like a great price for a lectro receiver with a tracking front end and wider frequency range. Compare this price to a UCR401 and it looks quite good. It outperforms a UCR401 in all respects. The LR is small but not a toy. The gal that designed this critter, put a year of blood and sweat into this. Fortunately she is a very cheerful person so there were no tears. Mirror
Larry, How does the size of the LT compare to the size of the SM series?
VASI
Larry, Thanks for a receiver which accept AA batteries.
LarryF
The LT is smaller than the UM400a by 15% (?) but that much larger than the SMqv and much larger than the SMv. The LMb is the same size as the LMa but with more features. We need to do a family picture of all the beltpack transmitters, once they are all announced. LarryF
Larry, Thanks for a receiver which accept AA batteries. All future products will be AA's or rechargeable Li-Ion, usually user replaceable. Best, Larry F Lectro

Derek H
Is it out-performing the SRb as well?

Chris R
Yes. LEF Assuming you were refering to the RF side of the units, just curious if there are any differences sonically between these units and an SRb/SMv ?
LarryF
Assuming you were refering to the RF side of the units, just curious if there are any differences sonically between these units and an SRb/SMv ? Hi Chris, Yes, I was referring to the RF side. We've always kept the audio side as similar as possible between all the digital-hybrid systems. The 100 series and IFB are exceptions to this but then they are all analog, narrow deviation systems. There is just no reason to reduce the sound quality of a lower priced digital-hybrid system. It would be a few pennies different and would only be a marketing ploy. Best, Larry F
greyfoxx
I was wondering the same thing based on the specs. The S/N ratio seems identical. So the only cons I can see are the lack of DC powering out of the box for the LR and front facing lcd making it not ideal for a bag.
Boomboom
A ''flip'' option of the screen and a 1'' miror band in the bag would allow to a view of the display. Nope ? Clip LED on top, similar to LEDs on the SM series txs... ?
Derek H
Too late for any JW sound member redesigning I'm sure. I was hoping for some simple LED indicators on the top of the LR as well.

cstauffer
Larry, will you be disigning a plug on transmitter to work with this? Balanced maybe instead of unbalanced like HM and UH series?
