A PSC Quad Pack.  Like the Six Pack but for only two slot receivers, still delivering power and RF distribution.  For small bag setups like a 633/Maxx in an Orca 30 or Stingray.

WisyCom waterproof transmitter.

I'd like to see;

Movieslate to figure out a way to swim upstream and have the info entered as metadata on the sound files.

Also for all editing software to carry metadata through on import.

a nice 1RU Dante based Mic pre that runs on DC.

Lectrosonics Venue incorporating 12 receivers with Dante and analog outs.

Lectrosonics to code their software on the OSX side as well as PC.

A magical single CAT6 based passive balun that can send 3 SDI and 1 audio signal via a single cable.

There's more but any of these would make me happy.

If you remove all the stored frequencies then briefly depressing the button does nothing. It will of course still scan if depressed and held.

That's the thing, it stills scans even with stored frequencies removed.

The only way is to remove the washer.

The Dream IFB in my post above would simply programme whatever is required on the day. No tools required and no losing the washer.

For my actual recorder:

-Nomad Surround Decoder (Such as his web says).

-Return of multiple trims can be assigned to one fader (Nomad).

For a close future:

-Better Zaxnet IFB coverage.

On my wish list:

-Automatic delay finder (dynamic), for delay compensation between different microphones (Such as between shotgun and lavalier).

Firmware update #1: Sound Devices adds 20dB more gain to inputs 4 to 6 of the 633

+ 1

633 Firmware Update;

- Add slate mic and tone routing to main routing menus.

- Make the record light flash while recording

- A way to quickly add a note to the current or previous take in the sound report

- Add ability to use a USB mic as an external slate mic - such as http://www.buddymicrophones.com/microphone/flamingomic-7g-straight-connector

Would love to see one of these for the SD 664...

I don't need any of the faders with the CL 6, just what's in the pic.

I suggested one of these when the mixer/recorder came out.

I would like to see a new update for the 664 that addresses the date problem and a track naming problem.

A dashboard design to hold three 411's over the 664.

A low profile right angle XLR that isn't DIY and can be torn apart easily for repair.

I'm really enjoying this thread. Thank you all.

Im afraid I derailed it a bit with my bad IFB knowledge. I'm going to delete that post and hope the related posts are deleted too. I didn't want to gum this up with bad info. Sorry.

No worries RP. No need to delete posts, they end up revealing info either way.

This is an interesting thread and I hope the manufacturers are reading it coz I really want the Lectro IFB I dreamt up. LOL!!

1) A Lectrosonics IFB receiver that works in digital hybrid mode.

2) A hardware based audio recorder with metadata entry, editing and false start / duplicate handling thats as fast and efficient as Metacorder. Metacorder is 10 years old and still leads the pack.

Cantar x-3 would hopefully have a idevice compatibility.   I own an x-2 and love it but it needed an update.  This seems like a nice answer to a lot of gigs. Pricey yes.  fader pack to go with it would be lovely.

Sound Devices mixing console would be great with Dante.

Update to 788t.  More Iso's and more analogue and digital inputs.

Lectro update to 411...
