Equipment hopes for 2015

>it is very unfortunate that a lot of people are still using block specific wireless.

It is not unfortunate, it is a choice. Wide Band would have zero effect on my workflow. Why get rid of what works for me ?

+1 I am happy with my current SRB/ MM400/ HM set up. When they have a wide band SRB type RX I will consider upgrading for flexibility. After talking to Gordon at Length about it last year. He felt I had 5-6 years of good use out of my current set up at minimum so I will continue to cash my checks with the current set up. What I would buy ASAP if it came out would be a purpose built Stereo Camera Link TX

Since Zaxcom does not want to make my ONEUnit device maybe sound devices will make a new recorder with slots for Lectro SRb or wysicom.

This will eliminate power distros and analog cables and will make ONEUnit devices with hirose connection to a battery cup...

What's the difference between this and using an octopack, besides the audio cabling? Power and rf distro built in.

Gee my last post did not make it so:

Fader box for the 664

Black indents (not white on gain trims) for 664 as I have previously suggested

USB socket on rear of 664 to take a USB bluetooth dongle receiver for keyboard

Matt: but the knobs for 788 seem to be out of order as well, no ? They don't appear on the website...

I don't think the CL-8 knobs were a standard accessory part, so they weren't listed on the website.  They are available as a service part.

Check with your reseller, they should be able to get the knobs with no problem.

I'm still holding out for a microphone basket that can fold flat and be stored on the back of my audio bag, rather than left rolling around on a table somewhere.

I mean, you can buy a whole tent that pops up in seconds. Why can't that be done with a basket?

Like the old dpa windpac. Bring back the dpa windpac.

Something very specific I'm looking for at NAB - something from Zaxcom.

Smaller (like same size as MAXX) RX12 with built in Zaxnet Tx AND/OR

Maxx replacement with built in 4-mono channel UHF receiver and Zaxnet transmitter option (don't need UHF transmitter unless Zaxcom starts making slot-in receivers)
