Jan McL
Gets more exciting when you know some of the players in the game. Congrats especially to Tom Varga, Brendan O'Brien and Adam Sanchez for their work on "Birdman". Whoot!

Chris Woodcock
Just out of curiosity is the sound voting only handled by Sound professionals or everyone in the academy?
Jeff Wexler
The voting procedure in the Academy is as follows: nominations are decided by voting by the Academy branch members in the category: members of the Sound Branch vote to determine who gets nominated. Members in each branch also vote for Best Picture nominations. Once the nominations have been determined, all members of the Academy, all branches, vote for the winners in all categories.
