Blas Kisic
For an upcoming job I've been asked to feed my mix to an iRig PRO (connected to an iPad) for reference. The iPad will be recording video and sound for reference and archival purposes. From what I've seen on the IK Multimedia website, it'll take a line-level signal. I'm planning on sending the feed via Comtek taped to the device (which will be housed in some sort of cradle.) Seems pretty straightforward, but I'll be grateful for any known pitfalls or insight you could share with me. TIA!
JackHenry
Is the iRig mono only?
Blas Kisic
As far as I know it is, Jack. Why? BK
Christian Spaeth
One thing I'd look into is video delay, depending how the video is transmitted to the ipad, and see whether or not you can counter that with your equipment. JackHenry
I'm looking at options to get 2 channel audio into an iPad running a Vectorscope for stereo placement during choral or orchestral recording setup. I intend to take output from a Nagra VI & direct that to the meter running on the iPad

JackHenry
That seems to be single channel only. As mentioned, I need stereo input at line level.
