Masaki Hatsui
Yes exactly there's a whole mini-industry sprung up for tricking out a wide range of cameras, and the Alexa Mini will quite probably sell in larger numbers than most. Here's a C300 / Aaton XTR They have to put the battery on the right side of the camera, if they tend to be an Aaton like shape!
Richard Munns
Just had a chat to the Arri guys at BVE. The audio is the same as the Alexa except input is via a 5 pin lemo on the front of the camera(They seemed to have a 4 pin on the one I saw). Timecode is not the same as the Ambient board in the Alexa but it sounds like they're trying to make it better than the Amira. They haven't finished making it yet so we'll have to hold our breath in excitement. TC input via 5 pin lemo on the back.

Patrick Tresch
Arri loves velcro now to "mount" a battery plate? He must be kidding? Lol
LarryF
What's scary about that? It says less than 20dB(A). That's not very loud at all. I noted it did not specify at what distance it is 20 dBa. (?) A Saturn moon rocket is 20 dBa at 588,000 miles. LEF

LEF Very good point, we've all gone to sleep round here it's so quiet! Though that's a very precise figure? Oh! Wait a minute that's 24x round the world, and off the world there's no air, oh!
