Hi there,

After my recent update to the v1.04 SD firmware for my 633 mixer, my Rii wi-fi keyboard dont responds any more...

Does anybody out there had this kind of problem with this keyboard or other model ?

Does this problem concerns the SD664 mixer too ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Bax.

i too have noticed a few problems with 1.04.

my solution - which seems to be working so far - was to re-install 1.04 and then reset my settings to factory default and go from there as if from day one, make all settings new and save them. this got rid of all the small glitches i was having, including an intermittent keyboard.

my guess is 1.04 doesnt like to work with setups saved in 1.02.

makes sence somehow.

Funny, mine worked yesterday. I power up my 633 after reading your post and the Rii is unresponsive. I powered down and held menu for a hard reset and that fixed it.

This has been an ongoing problem for me since 1.02. I have reported it to Sound Devices.

I would try that and see.

Thanks Nick.

Nick, Siddho,

This are my observations,

- A hard reset seems to work for the keyboard issue.

- I think though that a "factory default" procedure being the best solution cause the new firmware adds more functions...

This can be clearly observe comparing the .XML files generated.

Thanks.
