Renaming channel name bug 633

A few customers have complained of problems with Scene or Track Name issues after upgrading 664 to 2.03 and 633 to 1.04. The fastest and most effective way to resolve these issues is to enter the Take List, Select Next Take, Select Scene, Select <Clear List>, then select a Track Name option and select <Load Default List>. You will then have to rebuild your Track Name and Scene Name lists. After making these changes you shouldn't experience any more issues with Track and Scene Names with the new firmware.

We are still investigating the cause.

Nicholas

Nevo,

Is Menu>File Storage>Scene Increment Mode set to Character or Numeric?

Customer's who have complained about scene increment mode have either had this set to Disabled or eliminated the issue by clearing the Scene Name list.

I will reiterate that all reported problems with Scene or Track Names were caused from updating 633 1.02 to 1.04 or 664 2.02 to 2.03. We made a lot of changes and improvements in this area of the code for the 1.04/2.03 release. Clearing the Scene Name list and loading the default Track Name list will eliminate all Scene and Track Name issues in 1.04/2.03.

Cheers,

Nicholas
