olphi
Hello, this is my new cart. Must be portable and based on my bag. I use a foldable Magliner, Stanley Fatmax drawer and fishing accessories drawers (side opening). Just have to place my bag on the shelf and connect the sonosax to my SD 664. I do mostly doco and sometimes commercials. Thats why I choose to keep my bag in priority. 2 big drawers 2 small drawers 2 mini drawers 1 side opening drawer Just have to add a HD/SDI monitor. cws837
Very nice looking set-up. How do you find the case? I've been contemplating something similar if I were to make a move from the bag. I also would like to know if that bungie cord is a permanent addition . -Chris

locationsoundvie
Hey, looks very nice. Where did you get the shelf from? Is it one from magliner? Because I cant find it on their homepage.
olphi
Yes, magliner shelf. MAG 01 VS NAG.http://www.adorama.com/BKMAG01VSN.html but not easy to find in Europe. I receive the last one from France.

Jeff Wexler
I would love to put this up in the Gallery of Sound (Bag) Carts but I like to put a name to these carts and I don't really know who olphi is. I guess it could be a first name? In any case, I'll name it the Olphi bag-cart.
Nick Ray Harris
Very nice, I've built a similar setup.
olphi
Hello Jeff, I 've put it in the sound cart Gallery. I will edit the infos if it is possible. I love this small set up. Ready in 10 minutes. Top of the sound quality with the SX S6 in front of the SD 664. Next update : small shelf on the back with cup holder, usb charging station for iphone and right angled handles. Best regards.
RScottATL
I've been wondering for a long time what direction to go with a hybrid microcart as my first cart. This solves that question. Thanks for posting this inspiration!!
glennf
Nick, what brand is that light attached by the clamp?
Mirror
Nick, what brand is that light attached by the clamp? Looks like one from IKEA. I like mine.

Strei
I have a question: How does the magliner folding mechanism work with the drawers attached? Do you detach the shelves and drawers when loading in the car, and then re-attach when deploying the cart to a gig? Thank you.
Jan McL
Nice! Congrats!
Proctor Trivette
Olphi, love your setup! And the Samsung commercial sounds great and is hilarious :-)
taylormadeaudio
What a great (commercial?) - felt more like a human interest piece on generational connectivity... though I admit, it kinda made me want to go out and but a Samsung. Nice cart, too. It's great to see so many different takes on the bag-cart hybrid idea. ~tt
olphi
Hello Strei, because of the folding mechanism, had to drill 2 holes in the vertical bar to attach the shelf with the Magliner system. So not possible to adjust the height. For transportation, I remove the shelf (2 big screws), the low part with drawers and the middle drawer systems. I takes less than 10 minutes to mount or unmount the cart.
