glenn
There will be no disappointments with the RX200. Small, light, wideband with AES and analog out. Its real cute. Full details will be had at NAB. Glenn

Alex Mitchell
I was just about to send in my original, un-serviced Nomad 8 for a host of updates. This is going to be the icing on the cake.
Prahlad Strickland
I'm a little confused on the rx200. Is it not going to be an update to the qrx200? Wideband. Smaller lighter cheaper? Any reason to keep or buy qrx200

Any reason to keep or buy qrx200 Of course there is. The new RX200 is a 2-channel unit, meaning it will work with one transmitter in mono or stereo. The QRX200, is a four channel (Q, for Quad) unit, and will work with two transmitters, either mono or stereo.
justanross
Will these new products be approved by Industry Canada? Because currently no one in Canada can buy any of your products.

I'm holding out hope it will receive two mono signals...

Prahlad Strickland
I see. Well in that case makes sense. I thought it was going to be the modules that go into the rx12 except with I thermally powered battery setup.

cameronlenart
One transmitter, mono or stereo. Is that still speculation as to as to what exactly "2-channel wireless receiver" means though? Or have you have it confirmed?
Matt Martin
I got the impression the RX200 is meant specifically as a camera hop receiver. Small, light, TC out, internal batteries. Of course can be used in the bag but the QRX200 or 100 is better suited for that.

glenn
RX200 is a mini receiver with AA batteries and 12VDC power that can receive a single Zaxcom transmitter in mono or stereo mode with time code output. It is the perfect mate for our TRX900CL camera link. Yet can receive any Zaxcom UHF transmitter It tunes from 500MHz to 700Mhz and has our "Flux Capacitor" filter yielding an intermod free design. Audio and RF specs are the same as the QRX200. It is designed for both camera mount and sound bag with control buttons and a display that are easily operated in either application. It is perfect for any non slot mounted location where size, weight, audio quality, self powering, RF performance and flexibility are key. And it is just Cute :-) Glenn

johnpaul215
The internal batts get my attention! Eliminates so many problems. yeah, a while back in a discussion about powering Zaxcom camera hops, Glenn said something about "we might have an answer at NAB". This was not what I expected. I definitely like the sound of this.
