Pete D
I picked up one of these goose neck mics out of curiosity. It does work with any headphones that have a 1/8" jack on them. To test it out I modified a pair of MDR-V6s I had laying around by replacing the cable with an 1/8" jack. Admittedly I didn't do the neatest job with the file while putting the jack into the headphones but it still works great. Out of the box, you can plug the mic straight into a sennheiser G3 and it works fine. Also, using an 1/8" to TA5 adapter, it worked well plugged into a lectro. One thing that's kind of neat is you can unplug the mic from the cable and put it straight into a G3, almost making it like a low budget omnigoose, though the sound quality isn't as good. Also, it's cardioid though so I guess it'd be a cardiogoose?
DanieldH
They have a studio version, too. http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/studio-and-stage/studio-headphones/custom-studio.html Same accessories. I wonder how (well) the cable locks. http://images.sonicelectronix.com/images/1438341/main/headsetgear.jpg
