RadoStefanov
My Maxx is getting similar a treatment. 3 qrx and a micplexer. So I will have 2 ONEUnit devices. Also replacing a qrx will be very easy. i like this challenge, creativityand diversity ! so nice! all in one box, too risky for me in case of breakdown, for that reason i prefer the modular systems and also the possibility to add or remove some element in fonction of needs and play with more and less. weight and volume, yes a big question... in 20 years i have gradualy lost around 9kg in my sound bag, a big change! now we arrive close to the limits, i think... I personaly always go with some back-up elements. The idea to block the shooting process because of a breakdown without replacement solution... a nightmare... Jack Norflus
Just curious - by a show of hands - is this modification something that a lot of people would be interested in doing?
Wandering Ear
Just curious - by a show of hands - is this modification something that a lot of people would be interested in doing? I would love the zaxnet antenna to be on the face plate.

Nate C
I would definitely be interested. Would the Zaxnet antenna get in the way of channel one on the FP8? I don't currently use the FP8 so I don't have a real sense of it's ergonomics. Shipping cost and time to the states may restrict many of us non US users. Jack Norflus
Would the Zaxnet antenna get in the way of channel one on the FP8? I just took a look at mine and I dont think it is an issue. But I would be curious what someone else with an FP8 thinks.

If we could mount the FP8 on the bottom, then that wouldn't even be a concern

RadoStefanov
I use the maxx with the antenna next to the knobs and it is not in the way. Works fine
Jack Norflus
I think the question was more so because with the fp8 you have a second row of faders above the antenna. But I personally don't think it is an issue.

Not sure what other options there are, if any, but that would be a no-go for me.

The antenna wouldn't be directly in the way it would be off to the side much in the same way the UHF antenna is on Maxx.
