RadoStefanov
Since my harness is attached to the OneUnit Nomod I made holes for the headphone and zaxnet antenna. I believe this approach is better then attaching the harness to the bag and have everything else inside moving around. John Blankenship
Since my harness is attached to the OneUnit Nomod I started made holes for the headphone and zaxnet antenna. I believe this approach is better then attaching the harness to the bag and have everything else inside moving around. Very nice. The whole concept of external protective panels, as opposed to a bag, bears consideration by some of our supplying manufacturers. Cameras have gone the route of mounting plates that allow almost any type of configuration, built in attachment threading might have a future with the next generation of multipurpose audio devices. RadoStefanov
Thanks John. My approach makes a lot of sense. It makes everything smaller and a lot more balanced. It should work great for SD688 and sl6 Oneunit devices. Edited October 8, 2015 by RadoStefanov

Fritz
would someone educate me with regard to power disto from an Inspired Energy or other? SD 633 with 4 Lectro 411s and perhaps a PSC SMA. I would batt the cam hop and prod IFB.
Ze Frias
would someone educate me with regard to power disto from an Inspired Energy or other? SD 633 with 4 Lectro 411s and perhaps a PSC SMA. I would batt the cam hop and prod IFB. Inspired Energy doesn't make power distros, only smart batteries, chargers and accessories. They do make a "battery cup" that you can wire to any power distro of your liking. But if you wish to use SMBus, which is the main advantage of these batteries, the only power distros available in the market catered to us that will fit suit are the Audioroot ones. Fritz
thanks Jose. But seems like they make both from their website. In any case, trying to determine what batt to get. Edited October 13, 2015 by Fritz
Philip Perkins
Hey Rado--I was in Reno last week and when I saw the hotel-room safe the first thing I thought of was your new rig! Have had the opportunity to travel with it much? p
RadoStefanov
Yes. I went to palm springs and st. George Utah. I fit all expensive stuff. OneUnit, wireless TX, Lavs, booms, slate, jam boxes in the safe no problem.
Michael Miramontes
Rado, I've heard your name pronounced many different ways. What is the correct way to pronounce it? Ra-doh Ray-doh ??
RadoStefanov
Rado, I've heard your name pronounced many different ways. What is the correct way to pronounce it? Ra-doh Ray-doh ?? Ra-Do Ra, like the sun god of the Egyptians and Do, like Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do. OneUnit vs Orca bag. I love carrying the OneUnit all day. I don't think I can ever go bag to any other setup. No blimp at all? This is really beautiful project Rado, I'm thinking about trying out similar bag design for Nomad+QRX100+Audioroot battery and distro. RadoStefanov
All that and pelican, isn't that still too heavy for carry-on? No blimp at all? This is really beatiful project Rado, I'm thinking about trying out similar bag design for Nomad+QRX100+Audioroot battery and distro. I am thinking about just making cordura+foam case and skipping on the pelican.
