I'm sure I could do a google search, but does anyone know off the top of their head where I can find what the upgrade would actually get me? I hadn't realized WSM had become so powerful. Nor did I ever even consider that updating the firmware of those transmitters would be possible. Seems like it is, although it's not clear what sort of advantages the new firmware might bring. Pick up a G2 or G3 IEM receiver. They're designed to drive a pair of headphones while the camera receiver's output is designed to feed a line level bridging input. The g3 will output a mono signal and if sent to stereo headphones it will only come in on the left side (and rather low). Rick Reineke Posted June 23, 2020 Report Share Posted June 23, 2020 The SK100 bodypack transmitter is mono. if both sides of a stereo signal are wanted, tie the left & right signals together. btw, The SK100's 3.5mm TRS plug is wired Tip for mic level .. or .. the Ring terminal for line. The unused terminal is to be tied to the sleeve/ground.
