You mean the cable doesn't wrap easily? I've heard some people hang them with a small weight at the bottom, some say to lay them in the sun for a bit. In my experience, new lav cables are a bit stiff(even the Sankens) but they will break in nicely after a bit of regular use.

Hello, the most simple way of dealing with it is hanging lav on a nail or hook, then warming the cable with hair dryer or with warm air you may use for shrink tube when soldering, then "wipe" the cable with dry cloth while applying moderate strenght. Do several passes from top to the end of cable and here you go, no more nasty curves!
