480sound
Cos 11's take a beating. I have 3 that need repair; a bad connector, wire wind screen came off and a head pulled loose. What are your recommendations for places to send them in for repair?
John Blankenship
Wilcox advertises that they repair them. http://www.wilcoxsound.net/index.html I've not had any worked on by them, though -- maybe others here have. Here's their eBay listing for the service: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SANKEN-COS-11-WIRELESS-LAVALIER-MIC-REPAIR-WE-WILL-REPAIR-YOUR-MIC-/371342940032?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5675c39780
John Blankenship
Also, keep in mind that the price of a new COS-11D without accessories or connector (for those who like to wire their own) is only $289.
Sean McCormick
Wilcox is the only place I've used or have been aware of. Can get log jammed there occasionally, though.
Michael Miramontes
seems kinda pricey. I think Audio Department charged me around $65 for a repair. (replace lemo connector)
S Harber
Wilcox is the only place I know if that can repair them at the mic head if that's where the issue is. Otherwise, if it's simply at the connector you can easily do it or I'd suppose anywhere that can solder could pull it off. Screen-wise I have no experience other than telling production "we need new mic here". Scott

FredS
Wilcox replaced noisy cables on 3 of mine. One took some time due to employee vacation, but all have worked great after return. Thumbs up.
