Richard Thomas Posted October 15, 2015 Report Share Posted October 15, 2015 I'm having a bit of a re-jig of the TV/sound system and using some active monitors for a surround setup. In order to get all the decoding done without a computer I'm going to need a surround preamp/decoder box. In order to play back things from the computer it'll need to go in over HDMI. I'm wondering whether anyone's run multichannel outputs from their HDMI port on their computer and how well the drivers talk to DAW software?
