cinetj
Hi, everyone One of my lma transmiters is behaving erratically. Sometimes it won't turn on or it will take a few seconds to do so. I've checked and there is no mechanical issue with the on/off switch, since this was my first guess.
jozzafunk
One of mine seems to do that a bit too - fortunately It hasn't developed further into an issue since it's an expensive mission to send these to US from NZ. I thought it may have been a battery connection issue. Edited October 27, 2015 by jozzafunk
hobbiesodd
Same issue here. Thankfully it is one of my way-backups and I use it rarely. Cheers, Evan

Gordonmoore1
Is your LMa configured for power on with the switch or are you powering on from the keypad? Gordon Edited October 28, 2015 by Gordonmoore1
Derek H
Similar issue... A few of my 411as are having the intermittent power switch issue. Is this a user-fixable problem? Assuming decent soldering skills and an exact replacement switch part?
cinetj
Is your LMa configured for power on with the switch or are you powering on from the keypad? Gordon I only use the switch. I didn't even know there was another way to turn it on
Gordonmoore1
Oops! - Sorry, I should always have my first cup of coffee before responding - I was thinking LMb on my response. Sounds like your unit will need to come in when convenient for you - sounds like a more complex underlying cause. In response to the other questions about user field repairs. If you are very good with a soldering iron, yes, you can probably replace the power switch yourself. Contact our service department for part number. Open your unit up first, and double check the board number - that can help them determine the correct part. Gordon
