John Edwards
I'm looking to record some acoustic guitar and vocals in my house. I have a focusrite scarlett which is really good but i wondered if anyone could recommend a really good budget condenser mic for under £200 that they had used. I may use as a room mic for drums as well thanks in advance Edited February 5, 2016 by John Edwards spelling mistake
KGraham045
If your looking for a cheap but decent mic for acoustic guitar and vocals.... Try a Rode NT1A
Rick Reineke
What is your price range?
MBaron
I really like the line audio cm3, especially for acoustic guitar.
Rick Reineke
The budget priced Oktava 012 sounds good on acoustic guitar.. but most of us know the caveats with that mic, if not search. In addition Micheal Joly's oktavamod option produces a sound very close to a KM84.
Matt Brodnick
Audio Technica stuff is not bad for that price range, especially when paired with that preamp behind it.
TomBoisseau
I have a stereo matched pair of the ADK A-51s LE Type III's. I've used them quite a bit on vocals and a little on guitar. I feel they do very well in both of these applications. I don't think they still make that model, but perhaps they have a similar replacement.
