GrahamTimmer
Hi all. I'm looking for a new storage solution for my np1's. The old cardboard sleeves are starting to get worn out. Any of you have any fantastic ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glen Deakin
WWW.cinebags.com Check out the CB08 utility pouch. They work well for a single np1 battery. Amazon link https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00B7K0ZHK?pc_redir=T1 Though the price is a bit scary. Got a few of these when idx was giving them with each battery. They give really good protection to the battery.
Jack Norflus
Versa-flex makes np1 pouches and they are under $50:
Solid Goldberger
I travel with 6 NP1s "loose" in a Lectrosonics pleather pouch, with all the contacts oriented the same way. I've never had a problem, and the fit is quite snug. E.
Derek H
I do the same as solid, 6x snugged in a Lectro pouch. These days I've been carrying that on the plane in a backpack but when I used to check it I'd paper tape all the contacts. Instead of throwing the paper tape away I just tape it to the back of the battery and re-use it later until it gets worn out. For a cheap option you might look at rifle magazine pouches. Johnny Karlsson
Shure SM-57/58 vinyl pouches. I got a bunch from Full Compass @ ~ $10/ea, but they can likely be found at any music equipment store, like Guitar Center etc.

ProSound
Alittle pricey but after I dropped a battery on a concrete floor and cracked it I bought 3 of these. I usually carry 4 batteries I own 7 and keep the other 3 in a padded pouch http://www.versa-flex.com/audiogear/np1batteryholder.html
Lancashire soundie
I've always kept mine bare in the cables bag, never had any issues. That said, you could save a lot of money by simply stuffing them in thick winter socks.
Jeremiah Sheets
So I shouldn't be putting them in a lose bag of 9Vs, paperclips, and metal shavings?
Derek H
It depends
chris_bollard
Camera tape across the contacts.
