Jeff Wexler
For anyone who missed the Gotham Sound Livestream with Glenn Sanders, I think it is one of the best talks on most of the amazing tools we have available to us from Zaxcom. http://livestream.com/gothamsound/zaxcom-system-glenn-sanders/videos/132368334

Toy Robot
I'm very much looking forward to the metadata update coming for Nomad. @46:50-47:25 in the video.
vale
It seems a great recorder indeed, the natural evolution of the Deva/Fusion recorder. I was just thinking I'd have preferred the digital inputs on the right side, to match the RX12 outputs.
Jim Rillie
The transmitters are too big for our purposes. Dramatic film. It's all good for sports and reality but... Old curmudgeon here. Jim Rillie PSM

It's all good for sports and reality but... Jim Rillie PSM Hey, Jim, just curious regarding your opinion that Zaxcom transmitters are "too big" for dramatic film. I've never found them to be too big and all I do is dramatic film, never done any sports or reality. I know lots of people who use the LA model which is larger but I have always preferred the LT for its small size. I have used the LT on the last 7 feature films (and they were actually shot on FILM, imagine that). The LT model line is smaller than several of the Lectrosonic transmitters, any of the transmitters from Audio, Ltd., and is about the size of the Sennheiser model. Have you been using the LTs and found them to be too big?
Matthias Richter
Maybe not too big in general. But I would certainly like to see a Zaxcom TX with the form factor of an AudioLtd miniTX. There are costumes where a curved, small form is needed.
