RPSharman
Very sad and horrible. I am glad you and your family are safe. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of all those killed and injured, as well as to Berlin itself.

Matthias Richter
Its still unclear wether it is an attack or not. But the street the truck was taking before hitting the place is very narrow and bended. There is no chance of getting speed by accident. Jan McL
Devastated for Germany, Berlin and the families and friends of those so tragically lost and what it means for the future of humanity everywhere.
Mungo
Very sad, mostly all of us Germans know exactly this place very well and have been there many times. For work and for holiday.

Werner Althaus
+2. I used to live less than 2 miles from there and spent many a days hanging out at Breitscheitplatz listening to the street musicians. This was during the 80s and it seems like a long gone era during which the world seemed a lot simpler.....from our sheltered viewpoints.
